Finance Minister Miftah Ismail saturday stated that the mera pakistan mera ghar (mpmg) scheme is being reshaped, hinting that the preserve on disbursements is probably lifted quickly.
The Minister stated in a tweet that many people have approached him concerning the scenario as they've already spent cash based totally at the approval of the loans.
Many people are writing to me that their loans were approved in the Mera Ghar scheme and that they have spent money based on that approval. I want to assure you that we are reshaping this scheme and no-one will lose their money. We will resolve the issues within the next week.

“I need to guarantee you that we are reshaping this scheme and no person will lose their money. We can clear up the troubles in the subsequent week,” the minister said.
The nation bank of pakistan (sbp) had instructed banks to put further disbursements below the scheme on preserve from july 01, 2022, till august 31, 2022.
“Authorities of Pakistan is considering to study/revise capabilities of subject scheme in light of new trends inside the macroeconomic situation. For that reason, banks/dfis/mfbs are recommended to put further disbursements beneath mpmg on hold from july 01, 2022, until august 31, 2022,” the imperative bank stated in a circular.
But, the central bank said that in those cases wherein partial disbursements have already been made until june 30, 2022, banks/dfis/mfbs may also launch the last disbursement under MPMG.
